Description:

Sacramento Fashion Week continues its partnership with the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Sacramento & Northeastern California. 100% of all net profits will benefit this nonprofit organization.

Kicking off the week will be an exclusive Launch Party on Tuesday February 21st. Workshops are scheduled to take place Wednesday February 22nd at the International Academy of Design & Technology, and Thursday February 23rd at Rowena &Takashi Hair & Makeup Studio in downtown Sacramento. A Fashion Forum will also be held Thursday night, which will be produced by SAC State Student Fashion Association and held at Sacramento State University. Sacramento Fashion Week is geared toward showcasing the fashion and artistic talents of the Sacramento Region. Giving new and upcoming designers a platform to showcase their collection they normally would not be able to.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Sacramento & Northeastern California is a non-profit organization committed to helping children with life-threatening medical conditions by making their dreams come true. The Foundation now grants a wish to a sick child every 40 minutes. Contributions to this organization are tax deductible. www.makeawish-sacto.org
