Sacramento Fashion Week

This year Sacramento Fashion Week will benefit a nonprofit organization. Make-A-Wish Foundation of Sacramento & Northeastern California will be the sole beneficiary with 100% of all net profits going towards the Foundation.

Kicking off the week will be an exclusive Launch Party on Wednesday February 23rd. The Emerging Designers showcase is being scheduled to take place on Friday February 25th which will feature designs from some of our region’s top student designers. The Finale showcase as featuring Couture Collections will be held Saturday February 26th from some of Sacramento’s premier cutting edge fashion designers. Both of these shows will be held in the refurbished Ballroom of the historic Elks Tower, located in the heart of downtown.

A fashion Forum will close out the week Sunday February 27th, which will be produced by SAC State Student Fashion Association and held at Sacramento State University. Free entry with Friday or Saturday showcase admission.

Sacramento Fashion Week is geared toward showcasing the fashion and artistic talents of the Sacramento Region. Giving new and upcoming designers a platform to showcase their collection they normally would not be able to.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation of Sacramento & NE California is a non-profit organization committed to helping children with life-threatening medical conditions by making their dreams come true. The Foundation now grants a wish to a sick child every 40 minutes. Contributions to this organization are tax deductible. www.makeawish-sacto.org
